How to Use This App:

  1. Create Your Group: Every member can create their own group, either public or private.
  2. Invite Participants: Add friends, relatives, employees, or congregation members to your group.
  3. Share Content: Upload documents, videos, or courses, and start discussions.
  4. Foster Learning and Growth: Host courses, lessons, or discussions that encourage personal development, knowledge sharing, and skill enhancement.

How to Create a Group

  1. Get Started:
    Click on the above “Get Started” link to begin the group creation process. You’ll be directed to the “New Group” wizard.
  2. Name Your Group:
    • In the “Group Name” field, type your first or last name, nickname, and a descriptor relevant to your church, company, or skills. For instance, if your name is Tomas and you’re a web designer, your group will be named “Tomas’ Web Design.”
  1. Write a Group Description:
    • In the “Group Description” section, provide information about your profession or the skills you possess.
  1. Choose Your Group Type:
    • In the “Group Type” section, select the type that most closely matches your group’s purpose, such as Church, Education, or Web Design. This helps users quickly find and identify your group in searches.
  1. Link to a Parent Group:
    • In the “Group Parent” section, you can attach your group to another existing group or someone’s group for better organization and visibility.
  1. Enable Group Forum:
    • Click “Yes” to enable forum discussions in your group for enhanced communication and engagement.
  1. Upload Your Images:
    • Upload a profile photo or logo, or use the default first-name logo.
    • Add a cover photo to personalize your group page.
  1. Send Invites:
    • Choose members of the platform to invite and send invites, or opt to invite them later via email.
  1. Add a Courses Tab:
    • Click “Yes, I want to add a group tab,” which will add a “Courses” tab to your group, allowing you to organize associated courses within it. You can also select which activity posts should automatically be added to the activity feed.
  1. Finish and Launch:
    Click “Finish,” and your group will be ready to go!

HOW TO GREATE THE GROUP 

  1. Click on the “Get Started” link
  2. You will be taking to “All Groups” page
  3. Click “Create a Group” link on the top menu 
  4. In the “Group Name” line — type your first or last name or nick name and the name of your profession or skills, for example; i am am a web designer, will give the group nam “Viks web designer” 
  5. In the “Group Description” write the info about your profession or skills that you have
  6. Click “Create & Continue” and fallow the wizard, answer all relate questions 
  7. Upload your photo, and your cover photo

The Group landing page is designed to be like a home or business office, where you can safely keep your personal and work documents online, accessible from anywhere in the world.

Creating a Business Office

  1. Create a Group: Start by creating a new group with your business name and location.
  2. Describe Your Business: Write a description of what your business is about.
  3. Upload Business Assets:
    • Upload your business profile logo and picture.
    • Upload videos or pictures related to your business.
    • Upload documents with information about your business, such as price lists.
  4. Invite Customers: Invite people or customers to your office who want to learn more about your business. They will become part of your group office.
  5. Interact with Customers: Interact with your customers, provide suggestions, etc.

Creating a Private Office

  1. Access the Wizard: Click on the provided link to access the “Create A New Group” wizard.
  2. Follow the Wizard: Follow the steps in the wizard to create your group. Make it private, so it becomes your own private office.
  3. Upload Documents:
    • Create folders for your documents.
    • Name the folders for categories such as car documents, home documents, personal documents, investment documents, etc.
    • Upload your insurance documents, pictures, or anything you want to keep online.
    • Set the privacy level to private and secure it with another password, if you like.
